Robert Allen Cochran, 48, of Delmar, Delaware passed away on Friday, June 18, 2010 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Delaware. Mr. Cochran was born on May 25, 1962 in Summers Point, New Jersey.
He was a disaster cleanup technician with Royal Plus. Robert was a former member of the Littlestown Alpha Fire Company and Ambulance Corps; he was very devoted to his wife and children, and turned from a city boy to a country boy for them. He loved football and baseball, and he volunteered for any sports that his kids took on. “He was simply our hero”.
Robert is survived by his wife Cindy L. Baker Cochran, two sons, Isaiah and Khalil of Delmar, three daughters, Britney, Eleni, and Kayla of Delmar, mother, Faye Daley Cochran, mother in law, Lillie Baker, sister in law Suzie Baker, nieces and nephews, Jada, Jordan, Kayla, and Camden, and is also survived by extended family, friends, and co-workers. He was preceded in death by his father Charles E. Cochran.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 24th at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington Street, Millsboro, Delaware where friends may call one hour prior. Pastor Richard Rogers will officiate. Interment in the Line Cemetery, Whitesville, Delaware.
