Edith May Atkins, 94, of Dagsboro, Delaware passed away on Saturday, June, 19, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Atkins was born on May 17, 1916 in Millsboro, Delaware to the late Joseph and Alice Simpson Moore.

She was a charge attendant at Stockley Center retiring after many years of service. Mrs. Atkins loved gardening and was an excellent cook.

She is survived by her son Robert Norvel Atkins and wife Dianna of Millsboro, her three daughters Alice Mae Rowe and husband Donald of Millsboro, Elizabeth Ann Hall and husband Leon of Millsboro, and Mary Louise Mitchell of Long Neck, five grandchildren Mary Carol, Lisa, Glenn, Holly, and Lori, five great grandchildren Brian, Carrie, Lianne, Samantha, and Colby, four great great grandchildren Morgan, Maddelyn, Logan, and Natalie, and numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Norvel John Atkins in 1983, three brothers, and four sisters.

Services will be 11:30 AM, Tuesday, June 22nd at the Millsboro Cemetery, State Street, Millsboro, Delaware. Rev. Betty Jo Magee will officiate the service.
