Kae Bell Cox, 79, of Cambridge passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cambridge on September 5, 1930 and was a daughter of the late Laurence and Mildred Bradley Ewell.

She graduated from Cambridge High School. Mrs. Cox married Robert Cox and he passed away in March of 2008. She worked at the Hair Port as a receptionist and later at Signet Bank where she retired. After retirement she worked part time at the Linkwood Golf Course.

She is survived by a daughter Susan B. Lewis of Cambridge, a granddaughter Lisa Webster and husband Kevin of Linkwood and a great granddaughter Lexi Webster.

Pallbearers will be JT North, Donnie Harmon, Dennis Wroten, Dennis Grafton,Kevin Webster and Jake Deisem.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. Jay Hurley officiating. Burial will follow at East New Market Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Dorchester County Humane Society, P.O. Box 132, Cambridge, MD 21613.
