Elmer Lee Arrington, 69, of Disputanta died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at the McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond. He was the son of the late Lloyd and Ethel Swicegood Arrington and was a retired U. S. Air Force veteran. A brother, George Arrington preceded him in death.

He is survived by five brothers, William Arrington of Colonial Heights, David Arrington of Richmond, Alvin Arrington of Kenbridge, Josephus Arrington of Disputanta and Webster Alexander of Montrose, VA; two sisters, Lola Mountcasel of Crewe and Lois Webb of Troutville along with numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Petersburg Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 South Crater Road. Rev. Robert Livesay, Rev. Walter Simms, and Rev. Danny Newman will officiate. Interment will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. The family will receive friends this evening from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
